Arabic has around 300 million native speakers. It ranks in the top ten most widely spoken languages in the world, is the official language of nearly twenty countries, and is one of the six official languages of the United Nations. Classical Arabic is also the liturgical language of Islam. The Arabic dialect that we teach in our center is Levantine Arabic, sometimes called Eastern Arabic. It is one of the dialects spoken in the Mediterranean Levant, including the western part of Syria, Lebanon, the Palestinian territories, and Jordan.
Programs
Colloquial Arabic (Ammyia) by GPA Method
This is our most popular program, since it enables students to communicate in the local language very quickly. We use a highly successful learning method that is visual (images and videos) and based on listening and talking. This methodology includes grammar teaching to help students correctly form sentences and speak competently using different tenses and conjugations.
The method is called GPA (Growing Participator Approach) and has six phases.
Modern Standard Arabic “MSA” (Fus-ha)
Modern Standard Arabic is used in formal speaking situations. You will find it spoken in sermons, lectures, news broadcasts, and speeches. You will also find it in all formal writing such as official correspondence, literature, and newspapers. The use of MSA varies somewhat across the Arab world.
Intensive Survival Arabic Course
